The RUBI DX-350 N Laser&Level is a professional, heavy-duty electric tile cutter with a movable head, designed to offer great versatility in cutting ceramic tile and building materials. Its 3 CV motor, high-performance cutting action, the ability to use 300- and 350-mm diamond blades, and a maximum cutting capacity of up to 220 mm in two passes make it suitable for working with porcelain tile, marble, granite, brick, exposed-face tiles, and refractory materials. The series is available in 1000 and 1300 versions to accommodate different workpiece lengths.

The DX-350 N is designed for professional applications where a conventional ceramic tile cutter may be limited by the thickness, size, or nature of the material. RUBI recommends it for all types of ceramic tiles as well as various construction materials.

One of the main features of the DX-350 N is its sawing effect. The head can move longitudinally and also descend onto the workpiece, allowing you to start certain cuts from a midpoint and take advantage of a high vertical capacity.

This configuration is especially useful when working with thick materials or when cuts are needed that cannot be made simply by moving the blade horizontally from one end of the workpiece.

To reach 220 mm, the cut must be made in two passes, working from opposite sides of the workpiece. This capability makes the DX-350 N a particularly versatile machine for thicker construction materials.

The DX-350 N accommodates diamond blades with outer diameters of 300 and 350 mm and an inner diameter of 25.4 mm. The choice of diameter affects both the cutting depth capacity and the available cutting length.

The 300 mm blade achieves the longest published cut lengths for each model. The 350 mm blade provides the capacity needed to reach the maximum thicknesses indicated, although it slightly reduces the available cut length due to the geometry of the assembly.

This difference is important when selecting the blade. A larger diameter provides greater vertical capacity, but not necessarily the longest possible cut length.

The cutting assembly is tiltable and allows for mitre cuts. Using a 350 mm blade, RUBI specifies a maximum capacity of 65 mm for this type of cut.

The DX-350 N 1000 is the most compact model in this series. With a 300 mm blade, it can make straight cuts of 102.5 cm and reach up to 118.5 cm using the miter cut technique. Its maximum published diagonal cutting area is 83.5 × 83.5 cm.

The DX-350 N 1300 retains the same power and thickness capabilities but significantly increases its longitudinal capacity. With a 300 mm blade, it achieves 132.5 cm in direct cut and up to 148.5 cm using the miter cut effect. It also allows for diagonal cutting with formats up to 105 × 105 cm.

The choice between the two variants depends primarily on the size of the workpieces. The power, available blade diameters, and maximum capacity of 105 mm in a single pass or 220 mm in two passes are the same for both models.

The DX-350 N 1000 is suitable when standard workpiece sizes are around one meter and a slightly more compact machine is desired. For larger workpieces, the DX-350 N 1300 provides an additional 30 cm of direct capacity with a 300 mm blade and a significantly larger maximum diagonal.

The removable tables and the removable water tank facilitate periodic cleaning of the machine. Accumulated material debris and sludge must be removed, and the cooling circuit must be kept clean to ensure adequate flow over the blade.

It is also advisable to periodically check the condition of the blade, its secure attachment, the movement of the head on the bearings, and the proper alignment of the entire assembly before performing jobs that require high precision.
