The RUBI TR-MAGNET is a professional manual tile cutter specially designed to achieve precise cuts in ceramic tile and excel at diagonal cuts. It combines an 800-kg multi-point spreader, the MAGNET one-handed operation system, dual steel guides, and a high-precision swivel square, offering a robust and agile solution for frequent work with porcelain tile and intensive use on glazed tile and stoneware.

The TR-MAGNET’s multi-point splitter incorporates RUBI’s MAGNET system, developed to streamline the transition between scoring and splitting operations. The mechanism keeps the pressure foot locked during scoring and allows it to be released for splitting using the same actuation assembly.

This operation allows for one-handed use and reduces the number of steps required between scoring and breaking the tile. The splitter is movable, so it can be positioned at the most suitable point along the cutting line before applying the splitting force.

The TR-MAGNET is designed for frequent cutting of porcelain stoneware and for intensive cutting of tiles and glazed stoneware. Its cutting power and the ability to adjust the cutting wheel to the material allow it to be used with different types of ceramic wall and floor tiles within the acceptable thickness range.

The machine uses a double-guide system that provides a clear view of the scoring line as the cutting wheel advances. This configuration allows for precise control of the cutting path and is especially useful when it is necessary to follow a mark previously drawn on the tile’s surface.

The guides are made of solid steel with a diameter of 20 mm. RUBI subjects them to chrome plating, grinding, and calibration processes and applies an anti-corrosion treatment designed to preserve their properties during professional use.

The guide supports are reinforced to increase the saw’s rigidity and structural strength. Good guide stability helps maintain a consistent path for the cutting assembly during long cuts and when pressure is applied to demanding materials.

One of the most distinctive features of the TR-MAGNET is its high-precision rotating square. It is made of die-cast aluminum and features a laser-engraved millimeter scale to facilitate the measurement and positioning of workpieces.

The square allows for angular measurements and cuts, making the TR-MAGNET particularly well-suited for repetitive diagonal or angled cuts. RUBI’s documentation specifies working positions between 0° and 45°.

The machine also features a side stop designed to securely hold the piece in place and facilitate repeatable measurements. The stop is made of engineering plastic.

The main base is made of high-strength die-cast aluminum. Mounted on top of it is a floating support base with a cushioning effect that aids in separating the tile.

This floating surface allows the workpiece to respond appropriately when the splitter applies pressure to the previously scored line, promoting a controlled break.

The RUBI TR-600 MAGNET is the most compact model in the series. Its maximum length of 60 cm allows it to handle standard wall and floor tile sizes, while it can handle diagonal cuts on tiles up to 42 × 42 cm. It retains the same 800 kg cutting force and all the main features of the TR-MAGNET system.

The RUBI TR-710 MAGNET increases the cutting capacity to 71 cm and allows for diagonal cuts on tiles up to 50 × 50 cm. It retains the same construction, 800 kg splitting force, MAGNET system, dual guide, and rotating square as the TR-600, making it the ideal choice when you regularly need to work with slightly larger tile sizes.

The TR-600 MAGNET and the TR-710 MAGNET offer the same splitting system, the same maximum splitting force of 800 kg, and the same range of tile thicknesses. For this reason, the choice depends primarily on the dimensions of the tiles to be cut.

The TR-600 MAGNET allows for straight cuts up to 60 cm and diagonal cuts up to 42 × 42 cm. The TR-710 MAGNET extends these capabilities to 71 cm and 50 × 50 cm, respectively.
