View productRUBI HIT-N manual cutter for porcelain tiles and large-format tiles, with MAGNET system, 800 kg cutting capacity, and cuts up to 120 cm.
The RUBI HIT-N is a robust and precise professional manual tile cutter, designed for use with large-format ceramic tiles and particularly well-suited for porcelain tiles. Its 800 kg mobile splitter, the MAGNET system, and the high rigidity of its structure allow for quick scoring and splitting with good visibility and control during frequent installation work.
The HIT-N series is designed for the frequent cutting of various types of ceramic tiles, including wall tiles, glazed stoneware, and porcelain stoneware. Its design is specifically tailored for professionals who need to work with large formats without resorting to an excessively heavy or complex manual tile cutter.
One of the HIT-N’s key features is the MAGNET system integrated into the splitter assembly. This mechanism allows the presser foot to be locked and unlocked during scoring and splitting operations using just one hand, simplifying the transition between the two cutting phases.
One-handed operation allows for greater control over the tile and significantly speeds up repetitive tasks. The separator is movable, so it can be positioned correctly before the necessary force is applied to separate the tile.
The maximum splitting force is 800 kg across all HIT-N models. Therefore, choosing an HIT-850 N, HIT-1000 N, or HIT-1200 N does not change the available force; the main difference between models lies in their maximum length and the tile formats they can accommodate.
The scoring wheel is positioned ahead of the pressure wheel, providing a direct view of the scoring area. This arrangement makes it easier to follow the line marked on the tile and control the path as the machine advances.
Visibility is especially important when working with large pieces, since a deviation during the first few centimeters can affect the outcome of the entire cut.
The slide assembly uses ball bearings to ensure smooth and precise movement during scoring. The guides are solid, made of chrome-plated, ground, and calibrated steel, and feature an anti-corrosion treatment.
The guides are secured with clamps to increase the rigidity of the assembly. This design aims to limit deformation and maintain a stable path for the head when pressure is applied during operation.
The base is made of extruded aluminum and features a closed structure designed to provide rigidity without unnecessarily increasing the machine’s weight. The stability of the base and the guides is particularly important during long cuts, where any movement or flexing can affect the final precision.
HIT-N cutters feature four additional aluminum arms designed to increase the support surface when working with large-format pieces.
The HIT-N features a side stop to facilitate tile positioning and perform repetitive cuts. It also allows pieces to be positioned for 45° cuts, expanding the range of applications beyond conventional straight cuts.
The handle features a Soft-Grip design intended to provide a more comfortable grip during scoring and splitting. This feature is particularly important when the tile cutter is used continuously for professional jobs.
The HIT-N series is available in cutting lengths of 85, 100, and 120 cm. The HIT-1000 N and HIT-1200 N models also come in specific models that include a carrying case, while maintaining the cutting performance corresponding to each length.
The HIT-850 N is the most compact model in the line. It allows you to work with pieces up to 85 cm in length for straight cuts and with tiles up to 60 × 60 cm when cutting diagonally. It maintains exactly the same cutting force of 800 kg as the longer versions.
The HIT-1000 N extends the working length to one meter and allows for diagonal cuts on pieces up to 70 × 70 cm. It is a particularly well-balanced option for professionals who regularly work with formats close to one meter without needing a 120-cm cutter.
This variant retains the cutting capabilities of the HIT-1000 N and is commercially distinguished by the inclusion of a carrying bag. It has its own part number and EAN, so it must be identified as a separate variant within the same product listing.
The HIT-1200 N is the highest-capacity model in the series. Its maximum length of 120 cm allows you to work with significantly larger pieces and make diagonal cuts on tiles up to 85 × 85 cm, while maintaining the same cutting power and MAGNET system as the lower-end models.
This configuration retains the cutting characteristics of the HIT-1200 N and adds a carrying bag, with its own part number and EAN.
The HIT-N supports different cutting wheel diameters to adapt the scoring to the characteristics and surface of the ceramic material. RUBI currently offers this product line with cutting wheels of 6, 8, 10, 18, and 22 mm, as well as specific GOLD, ENDURE, and EXTREME versions.
The technical documentation for the HIT-850 N and HIT-1000 N specifies a 22 mm cutting disc as standard equipment. The technical data sheet available for the HIT-1200 N specifies an 8 mm cutting wheel.
All HIT-N models offer 800 kg of cutting force and handle tile thicknesses from 3 to 15 mm, so the required cutting length is the primary criterion for choosing between variants.
The HIT-850 N is suitable for cuts up to 85 cm and diagonal cuts of 60 × 60 cm. The HIT-1000 N extends these capabilities to 100 cm and 70 × 70 cm, respectively. For larger tiles, the HIT-1200 N achieves a straight cut of 120 cm and allows for diagonal cutting of formats up to 85 × 85 cm.
