Description

Cleaning Construction Debris

Sanet Monestir is a concentrated acid cleaner developed to remove post-construction debris, especially cement and mortar residue, salt efflorescence, saltpeter, whitish films, and rust stains. It can be used indoors and outdoors on clay, terracotta, rustic stoneware, glazed ceramic, porcelain tile, aged marble, slate, stone, and unpolished marble. It is especially useful for cleaning newly installed flooring and exposed-brick facades affected by saltpeter.

Dilution and Coverage

The concentration should be adjusted according to the surface and the degree of soiling. As a general guideline, Monestir recommends diluting one part of Sanet with between one and five parts of water. On acid-sensitive materials, such as hydraulic mosaic or cement-based products, a minimum dilution of approximately 1:10 should be used. Its approximate coverage is 5 to 8 m² per liter.

Application and Precautions

The surface must be swept clean and dry. Spread the diluted product, let it sit briefly, and scrub with a scouring pad, a bristle brush, or a rotary machine. Then rinse thoroughly with water and remove the dirt before it is reabsorbed by the material. Apply at temperatures between 5 and 35 °C. Do not use on polished marble or other acid-sensitive materials. It is recommended to always perform a test application first and to wear gloves, eye protection, and ensure good ventilation.
