Design checks
- ✓EI 120 with 2 × 25 mm fire boards belongs to D112b, not D113.
- ✓Published fire protection is considered from below.
- ✓A plenum deeper than 2 m requires specific engineering.
- ✓Movement joints must be incorporated at no more than 15 m intervals.
Configuration mistakes
- !Using two-level saddles in D113 or cross connectors in D112b.
- !Selecting spacing without calculating self-weight and additional loads.
- !Adding U30, L25 and Clip 18 perimeter alternatives instead of choosing one.
- !Copying an EI build-up from another system merely because both use CD profiles.
