The hand-made baseboard from Ladrillerías Mallorquinas is a handcrafted terracotta piece designed to seamlessly connect the floor with the walls. Its purpose is to protect the lower portion of the wall from impacts, dirt, scuffs, and surface moisture caused by cleaning.

It is specially designed to complement handmade tiles, maintaining continuity in texture, color, and artisanal character. It can be installed both indoors and outdoors, for example in living rooms, hallways, kitchens, patios, terraces, and porches.

In addition to its protective function, it conceals the perimeter joint of the floor and provides a cleaner finish than a tile cut on-site. The various lengths allow the baseboard joints to be coordinated with the floor tile format.

To calculate the required quantity, measure the linear meters of the walls, excluding openings where baseboards will not be installed. It is advisable to add a small allowance for cuts, corners, and replacements.

Because it is handmade, it may exhibit natural variations similar to those found in flooring. These variations help the baseboard blend seamlessly with the rest of the collection. The pieces are tested in accordance with UNE-EN ISO 10545-2, UNE-EN ISO 10545-3, and UNE-EN ISO 10545-4.
