The rectangular handmade tile from Ladrillerías Mallorquinas is a handcrafted terracotta tile designed for indoor and outdoor flooring. Its elongated shape allows for more dynamic patterns than those created with square tiles.

They can be laid in a continuous pattern with staggered joints, forming bands, borders, or herringbone patterns when the dimensions and layout of the surface allow. This makes them a particularly versatile option for traditional homes, country houses, kitchens, patios, porches, and Mediterranean-style renovations.

The slight irregularities inherent in the handmade process lend depth and a natural look to the flooring. Each piece may exhibit slight variations in shade, texture, and finish, giving the final result a less industrial appearance and one more closely associated with traditional ceramics.

The 11.5 × 24 cm size creates a more detailed pattern and makes it easier to fit small surfaces. The 14 × 28 cm tile provides a larger scale and reduces the number of tiles needed per square meter.

Before installation, it is advisable to define the pattern, check the joint width, and calculate a reserve for cuts and replacements. The collection complies with the UNE-EN ISO 10545-2, UNE-EN ISO 10545-3, and UNE-EN ISO 10545-4 standards.
