The Ladrillerías Mallorquinas Mechanical Block is a solid ceramic brick manufactured using a mechanized process that ensures consistent dimensions and facilitates the construction of uniform masonry walls. It is installed using vertical and horizontal cement mortar joints.

It can be used in load-bearing walls, as the manufacturer certifies it for this purpose. It is also suitable for Type 1 partition walls between residential units—using double-layer brickwork—and for Type 2B solutions in the Silensis System, designed to improve the acoustic performance of partitions between residential units.

In addition, it can be used as the outer layer in double-layer facades and in interior partition walls of residential units where there are higher sound insulation requirements. The absence of perforations gives it a higher mass than that of hollow bricks, a feature that is particularly important in building envelopes requiring strength, stability, and improved resistance to noise transmission.
