Espumax Fijación y Montaje Cánula

CEYS Espumax Fastening and Installation Cannula is a medium-expansion polyurethane foam (approximately 80%) designed for bonding and fastening construction materials. It is suitable for installing new or reclaimed roof tiles, friezes, moldings, lightweight panels, frames and subframes, electrical boxes, and components on concrete, cement, brick, metal, or wood. Its controlled expansion helps reduce deformation or displacement during curing.

CEYS specifies a tensile strength of 82 kPa and a temperature range for the cured product between -50 and +90 °C. Once cured, it is resistant to water and numerous chemicals, although it should not be considered a waterproofing solution. It dries to a gray color and, once cured, can be cut, sanded, polished, or painted. The version with a nozzle features a hermetic valve and a reusable system that can be stored for future applications for several weeks.

The substrate must be clean and free of dust and grease. CEYS recommends moistening it with water to promote even expansion and curing. The container should be shaken about 20 times before use and applied upside down, controlling the foam flow by applying it in dots or beads. The recommended application temperature is currently +5 to +30 °C, with approximately +20 °C being the optimal condition. Fresh residue can be removed with a polyurethane foam cleaner or acetone; never use water.
