Machihembrado liso

The Smooth Tongue-and-Groove Tile from Ladrillerías Mallorquinas is a light yellow terracotta tile with one smooth side and one ribbed side. It features a tongue-and-groove system that facilitates the joining of tiles and helps achieve a continuous, neat installation.

Thanks to its high flexural strength, it is suitable for constructing flat or sloped roofs under roof tiles. It can rest on roof battens or on concrete, metal, or wooden joists, adapting to different construction systems.

It can also be used as a cladding element for edging floor slabs and columns, offering a ceramic solution compatible with traditional finishes. Before being palletized, the tiles are manually sorted to ensure greater uniformity.

The series is manufactured with a width of 23 cm and a thickness of 4 cm, in lengths ranging from 50 to 100 cm:

The pieces are tested in accordance with standards UNE 67.041-88 and UNE 67.043-88.
