PLANISEAL 88 (Antiguo Idrosilex Pronto)

Mapei’s Planiseal 88, formerly marketed as Idrosilex Pronto, is a single-component osmotic cementitious mortar for waterproofing concrete and masonry structures. It comes in powder form and, when mixed with water, forms a fluid mortar with high adhesion to the substrate.

It is suitable for waterproofing basements, underground walls, swimming pools, elevator pits, irrigation channels, reservoirs, cisterns, and other structures subject to moisture or leaks. It is suitable for surfaces that will come into contact with drinking water and can withstand negative water pressure on rigid substrates not subject to movement.

It can be applied by brush, trowel, or spray onto clean, water-saturated surfaces. Its approximate coverage is 1.5 kg/m² per millimeter of thickness; the mixture remains workable for about one hour and is supplied in 25-kg bags. It complies with the EN 1504-2 standard.
