MAPELASTIC SMART

Mapelastic Smart by Mapei is a two-component, highly elastic cementitious mortar with a fluid consistency, designed for easy application by brush, roller, or mechanical spraying.

It is suitable for waterproofing balconies, terraces, bathrooms, swimming pools, tanks, canals, and other hydraulic structures. It can also be used to protect concrete surfaces, micro-cracked plaster, and cementitious substrates subject to vibrations or prone to developing small cracks.

The components are mixed in a 2:1 ratio, and the mixture remains workable for approximately one hour. It must be applied in two coats to achieve a minimum total thickness of 2 mm. The approximate coverage is 1.6 kg/m² per millimeter when applied with a brush or roller, and 2.2 kg/m² per millimeter when sprayed. It is supplied in pre-measured 30-kg units, consisting of 20 kg of powder and 10 kg of liquid component.
