Description
Mapelastic Zero by Mapei is a two-component, highly flexible cementitious mortar that remains flexible even at temperatures as low as −20 °C. It forms a waterproof, breathable, and UV-resistant coating.
Main Applications
It is suitable for waterproofing balconies, terraces, rooftops, bathrooms, swimming pools, storage tanks, and concrete surfaces prior to installing ceramic tiles. It also protects cementitious structures against water penetration and certain atmospheric agents.
Performance and Sustainability
It offers high adhesion to properly prepared substrates and complies with EN 1504-2 and EN 14891 standards. It integrates with accessories such as Mapeband to reinforce joints, corners, and transitions. It has very low emissions of volatile organic compounds. Furthermore, it is part of the Zero line: Mapei declares that the residual greenhouse gas emissions calculated over its life cycle are offset through certified environmental credits.
