Description
Mapegrout Rápido by Mapei is a thixotropic, fiber-reinforced, shrinkage-compensated cementitious mortar formulated for repairs that require rapid setting and load-bearing capacity. It is classified as an R3 structural mortar according to EN 1504-3.
Main Applications
It is suitable for rebuilding edges, steps, balconies, floors, columns, and localized areas of deteriorated concrete. Its consistency allows it to be applied to vertical surfaces without sagging, making it useful for urgent repairs and jobs where the area cannot be taken out of service for an extended period.
Speed and Application
The mixture remains workable for approximately ten minutes at 20 °C and sets in less than thirty minutes. It can be applied with a trowel or float in thicknesses ranging from 5 mm to 2–2.5 cm per layer. Coverage is approximately 18 kg/m² per centimeter, and it is supplied in 25-kg bags.
