MAPEFLEX MS CRYSTAL

Mapeflex MS Crystal by Mapei is a single-component, thixotropic, crystal-clear hybrid sealant and adhesive. It is formulated with silanized polymers and is free of silicones, isocyanates, and solvents; it accommodates joint movement of up to 20%.

It can be used to seal cracks, joints, construction joints, and expansion joints in facades, window and door frames, showers, glass walls, and the joints between baseboards and flooring. As an elastic adhesive, it is particularly suitable for glass, mirrors, ceramics, metals, wood, and certain plastics.

It can be applied to temporarily damp substrates, though not to wet surfaces, and is compatible with elastomeric paints. It forms a skin in approximately 30 minutes and cures to a thickness of about 4.5 mm every 24 hours. It is available in 300-ml cartridges and has an EMICODE EC1 R Plus classification due to its extremely low emissions.
