MAPEFLEX MS 55

Mapei’s Mapeflex MS 55 is a single-component hybrid adhesive and sealant with a high elastic modulus, developed to provide strong bonds and flexible seals with exceptionally fast curing.

It is suitable for bonding and sealing numerous materials used in construction, even on properly prepared damp surfaces. Its high initial adhesion allows for the installation of panels, profiles, baseboards, decorative elements, and structural components on walls and ceilings.

Unlike Mapeflex MS 45, it is specifically designed for jobs where it is necessary to reduce downtime and quickly achieve a stable bond. Its thixotropic consistency prevents slippage in vertical applications and allows for clean, controlled bead formation. Once cured, it maintains an elastic bond capable of absorbing movement and vibrations. It must be applied to solid, clean substrates that are free of dust, oil, or loose particles. It can be used indoors and outdoors, always ensuring compatibility with the material to be bonded.
