MAPEFLEX AC4

Mapei’s Mapeflex AC4 is a single-component, water-based acrylic sealant designed for joints subject to moderate movement. Its smooth finish can be painted once cured, making it easy to blend into walls and building elements.

It is suitable for sealing joints and cracks in concrete, plaster, brick, blocks, wood, and other porous substrates. It is primarily used indoors, around window and door frames, partition walls, precast panels, and joints between different materials.

It is supplied ready to use and is applied using an extrusion gun. Before it forms a skin, it can be smoothed with a damp tool. Because it is water-based, it offers good workability and allows fresh residue to be cleaned off with water. It should not be used for joints subject to significant movement, permanent immersion, or heavy traffic. It comes in cartridges and is available in various colors depending on the market.
