Description
Mapeband Easy by Mapei is a tape consisting of a rubber strip sandwiched between two layers of nonwoven polypropylene fabric. Its flexible structure allows for the creation of elastic joints within various waterproofing systems.
Main Applications
It is designed to seal control joints, corners, and transitions between horizontal and vertical surfaces in bathrooms, showers, balconies, terraces, swimming pools, and other areas exposed to water. It can be used in conjunction with products from the Mapelastic, Monolastic, and Aquaflex Roof lines.
Design and Packaging
Its edges feature perforations that improve wetting and mechanical bonding with the applied waterproofing material. It has an approximate thickness of 0.68 mm, a width of 130 mm, and an elongation at break of 315%. It is supplied in 10- and 30-meter rolls, along with interior and exterior corner pieces and fittings for utility penetrations. It has an EMICODE EC1 Plus classification.
