KERAPOXY IEG

Mapei’s Kerapoxy IEG is a high-performance, two-component epoxy mortar specifically formulated to grout joints exposed to particularly severe chemical conditions. It is the most specialized option in the Kerapoxy line for industrial applications.

It is intended for grouting ceramic floor and wall tiles in chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries, laboratories, production facilities, and other areas subject to frequent contact with acids, alkalis, oils, or other compatible aggressive substances.

It produces compact, waterproof, hygienic joints with high mechanical strength and resistance to wear and chemical agents. The mixture has a workability of approximately 45 minutes and allows for foot traffic after about 24 hours. The product is ready for use in approximately four days. It is available in colors 113 cement gray and 130 jasmine. Before use, the specific resistance of the product to the chemical in question must be verified by consulting the official Mapei chart.
