KERAFLEX EXTRA S1

Keraflex Extra S1 Zero is a variable-rheology, deformable cementitious adhesive designed to achieve a thixotropic or more fluid consistency depending on the amount of water used. This versatility allows it to meet the C2TE S1 or C2E S1 classifications.

It is suitable for installing ceramic tiles and natural stone—including large-format tiles—on walls and floors. Its thixotropic consistency prevents vertical slippage; when mixed to a more fluid consistency, it provides excellent penetration into the back of the tiles.

The mixture remains workable for approximately eight hours, offers more than 30 minutes of open time, and allows for grouting of floors after 24 hours. It is classified as EMICODE EC1 Plus due to its extremely low emissions of volatile organic compounds. It is part of Mapei’s Zero line: the CO₂ emissions calculated over its life cycle have been offset through certified carbon credits.
