The Smooth Tongue-and-Groove Tile from Ladrillerías Mallorquinas is a light yellow terracotta tile with one smooth side and one ribbed side. It features a tongue-and-groove system that facilitates the joining of tiles and helps achieve a continuous, neat installation.

Thanks to its high flexural strength, it is suitable for constructing flat or sloped roofs under roof tiles. It can rest on roof battens or on concrete, metal, or wooden joists, adapting to different construction systems.

It can also be used as a cladding element for edging floor slabs and columns, offering a ceramic solution compatible with traditional finishes. Before being palletized, the tiles are manually sorted to ensure greater uniformity.

The series is manufactured with a width of 23 cm and a thickness of 4 cm, in lengths ranging from 50 to 100 cm:

Smooth Tongue-and-Groove 50: 50 × 23 × 4 cm, 8.7 pieces/m², 250 pieces per pallet, and 3,400 kg per unit.

Smooth tongue-and-groove 60: 60 × 23 × 4 cm, 7.2 pieces/m², 125 pieces per pallet, and 4,100 kg per unit.

Smooth tongue-and-groove 70: 70 × 23 × 4 cm, 6.2 pieces/m², 125 pieces per pallet, and 4,750 kg per unit.

Smooth tongue-and-groove 80: 80 × 23 × 4 cm, 5.4 pieces/m², 125 pieces per pallet, and 5,450 kg per unit.

Smooth tongue-and-groove 90: 90 × 23 × 4 cm, 4.8 pieces/m², 125 pieces per pallet, and 6,100 kg per unit.

Smooth tongue-and-groove 100: 100 × 23 × 4 cm, 4.3 pieces/m², 125 pieces per pallet, and 6,700 kg per unit.

The pieces are tested in accordance with standards UNE 67.041-88 and UNE 67.043-88.
