High-Performance Thermal and Acoustic Insulation
Knauf ULTRACOUSTIC PLUS R is a glass mineral wool product in roll form, designed to improve the thermal and acoustic insulation of facades from the inside, interior partitions, and suspended ceilings. Its fibrous structure reduces noise transmission and limits energy loss.
Applications and Properties
It is suitable for indirect facade cladding, interior partition walls with laminated gypsum boards, and continuous ceilings. Its water-repellent properties allow it to be used in interior insulation solutions requiring greater protection against moisture.
Comfort and Sustainability
It has a thermal conductivity of 0.035 W/(m·K) and a Euroclass A1 fire reaction rating. It is soft to the touch, easy to install, and maintains its performance throughout the building’s service life. It contains a plant-based binder with no added formaldehyde or phenols, as well as recycled materials.
