Insulation for Sloped Roofs

Knauf Manta Kraft (TI 212) is a glass mineral wool blanket supplied in rolls, specially designed for the thermal and acoustic insulation of sloped roofs from the inside and non-habitable attics.

Integrated vapor barrier

One side is coated with kraft paper, which acts as a vapor barrier and helps limit the formation of condensation within the building envelope. It is typically installed on the top floor slab, between the joists that support the roof deck, with the coated side facing the interior space.

Installation and Sustainability

Its flexible format makes it easy to adapt to different spaces and allows for continuous installation, reducing thermal bridges. It incorporates a plant-based binder with no added formaldehyde or phenols and helps improve the building’s energy efficiency and indoor comfort.
