Knauf Blue Latex Waterproofing is a synthetic latex-based primer designed to form a continuous, flexible, and waterproof layer once dry. It is primarily used under tile and panel coverings in bathrooms, showers, kitchens, and other interior areas exposed to water or moisture.

It adheres well to substrates such as concrete, mortar, plaster, fiber-reinforced gypsum board, cement board, masonry, wood, and cement or anhydrite screeds. Its high elasticity allows it to accommodate minor expansion and movement of the substrate, helping to maintain waterproofing.

Its thixotropic consistency facilitates uniform application without the product running down vertical surfaces. It is solvent-free, resistant to aging, and allows water vapor to pass through, contributing to long-lasting protection.
