Knauf Pasta Rotband

Knauf Rotband is a single-layer, hand-applied plaster made from a mineral base, perlite, and special lightweight aggregates. It is designed for coating interior walls and ceilings, providing a white, uniform, and smooth surface ready for subsequent painting or other decorative finishes.

Its creamy consistency makes it easy to mix, apply, and smooth, making it suitable for both general plastering jobs and surfaces requiring a meticulous finish. Since it is a single-coat product, it allows for application without the need for a subsequent fine plaster coat, reducing the number of steps during construction.

It can be used on compatible interior substrates, such as ceramic tiles, blocks, and properly prepared mineral surfaces. On smooth or low-absorbency substrates, such as certain types of concrete, it may be necessary to first apply a suitable bonding primer, such as Knauf Betokontakt.

Its key properties include high coverage, good adhesion, and ease of application. It also helps regulate humidity and permeability in indoor environments and maintains the fire resistance of the substrate to which it is applied.

Knauf Rotband is intended exclusively for interior use and is applied manually. The product is classified and certified in accordance with the UNE-EN 13279-1 standard and is available in 17-kg bags.
