Knauf Stain-Covering Primer is a pigmented, water-based acrylic primer designed to seal and prepare interior surfaces before applying a decorative finish. It is especially suitable for laminated gypsum boards, gypsum plaster, and other compatible substrates.

Its main function is to prevent certain stains from showing through the paint later on. It effectively treats marks caused by nicotine, soot, oxidation, yellowing, and other substances that may reappear on the final finish.

The product helps even out the color and absorbency of the substrate, promoting a more uniform finish. It is supplied ready to use and can be applied with a roller, brush, or suitable spray equipment.
