Imprimación Aquapanel®

Knauf AQUAPANEL® Primer is a concentrated synthetic emulsion developed to prepare the cement panels of the AQUAPANEL® system before applying mortars, plasters, tile adhesives, and other subsequent finishes.

Its application regulates the substrate’s absorbency and prevents the board from drawing water too quickly from the finishing materials. This promotes uniform adhesion and helps ensure a more reliable, stable, and durable result.

It can be used in compatible interior and exterior systems, following the manufacturer’s technical instructions for each construction solution. Before application, it must be diluted with water in the recommended proportion and spread evenly with a brush, roller, or suitable tool. The surface must be clean, dry, sound, and free of dust or substances that reduce adhesion.
