General Description
Knauf Waterproofing Tape is a flexible tape designed to reinforce the waterproofing at the most vulnerable points of walls and floors exposed to water. It is especially suitable for sealing interior corners, nooks, joints, and the junctions between subfloors and partition walls.
It also helps seal small cracks before applying the final finish, helping to prevent leaks caused by movement or irregularities in the substrate. It is used in bathrooms, showers, kitchens, and other wet areas, in both new construction and renovation projects.
The tape is integrated into the waterproofing system by applying it over a first layer of fresh waterproofing product and then covering it with another layer. Its elasticity allows it to adapt to changes in surface level and provides continuous protection before installing ceramic tiles or other finishes.
