T10 - el anticongelante para hormigón y morteros

Neoquim T-10 is a chloride-free antifreeze additive for mortars and concrete, developed to improve the performance of cementitious mixtures when working in cold conditions. Its formulation reduces the risk of the water in the mix freezing during the early stages of hardening and is suitable for use at temperatures as low as approximately -10 °C, provided the manufacturer’s specified conditions of use are followed.

In addition to its antifreeze effect, Neoquim states that T-10 improves workability, increases the flowability of the mixture without the need to add more water, and helps reduce cracking. These characteristics are particularly beneficial on construction sites during the colder months, when low temperatures can slow the normal setting of mortar or concrete and complicate its placement.

T-10 must be added in a controlled manner during the preparation of the mortar or concrete, ensuring uniform distribution throughout the mixture. The dosage must be adjusted according to the ambient temperature, the type of cement, and the specific conditions of use.

Since it is chloride-free, it is more suitable than chlorinated anti-freeze agents in applications where it is important to limit the risk of corrosion of metal components. However, the use of this additive does not replace standard measures to protect concrete from cold, especially during the initial curing period.
