SELLACRIL - Sellador de alta transparencia al disolvente

Neoquim Sellacril is a transparent, solvent-based sealer-coating made from high-rigidity acrylic copolymers. It is designed to penetrate and seal porous mineral surfaces, subsequently creating a clear film that protects the substrate and significantly improves its appearance. Neoquim recommends it for concrete, clay, aged marble, sandstone, and other absorbent mineral flooring materials.

Once applied, it provides a glossy finish, enhancing the material’s natural tone and contrast. The sealing action reduces surface dirt penetration and facilitates subsequent cleaning. It can be used both indoors and outdoors, unlike other more specialized coatings in the line. Neoquim estimates a coverage rate of approximately 4–8 m²/L, depending on the substrate’s porosity and absorbency.

The surface must be dry, clean, sound, and free of dust, grease, trapped moisture, and incompatible coatings. On highly absorbent materials, coverage may increase significantly, while on sealed surfaces, excess product may accumulate.

Sellacril should be distinguished from Sellacril Impreso, which is specifically formulated for stamped concrete, and from Sellacril PU, a polyurethane designed for porous flooring subjected to higher traffic and abrasion demands.
