Neoquim Neodecapint Total is a low-viscosity, multi-purpose paint stripper free of chlorinated solvents, formulated to remove paint, varnish, lacquer, adhesives, and asphalt residue from surfaces with low or no porosity. It works by dissolving the polymer in the coating while causing it to lose adhesion to the substrate, facilitating its subsequent mechanical removal.

It is suitable for use on polished natural stone, porcelain materials, metals, aluminum, varnished or lacquered wood, and street furniture, among other low-absorbency substrates. It is also particularly useful for removing graffiti made with paint, markers, or ink. Neoquim expressly excludes plastics from its general applications; therefore, they should be avoided unless specifically verified beforehand.

Neodecapint Total is supplied ready to use. The manufacturer recommends applying a layer of approximately 300–400 microns to the coating and allowing it to act for a few minutes. As the reaction progresses, the paint loses its shine, wrinkles, or begins to peel off. It can then be removed using a putty knife, scraper, or pressure washer, depending on the surface.

The final step is to rinse the surface with a cloth dampened with water. Its combination of adhesion, fast action, and the absence of dichloromethane makes it a particularly suitable option for restoration, maintenance, and professional coating removal projects.
