Neoquim Neocem NQ is a water-based, self-adhesive primer formulated with 100% acrylic resins, developed to improve the adhesion of mortars, concrete, plaster, and water-based acrylic paints to smooth or low-porosity substrates. Its high tack ensures a stable bonding surface for both vertical and horizontal applications.

It can be used to bond new mortar to old mortar, apply screeds, reinforce joints between partition walls and columns, and prepare substrates such as mortar, plaster, brick, fiber cement, wood, or natural stone. It is suitable for construction materials that are not completely non-absorbent. Its resistance to moisture and alkalis helps maintain its adhesive properties over time.

Neocem NQ is supplied ready to use and must be applied undiluted. The substrate must be cohesive, fully set, and free of dust, rust, efflorescence, form release agents, or other substances that reduce adhesion. It has a long open time, ranging from approximately 15 minutes to several days, offering flexibility during construction work. It is also permeable to water vapor, can be applied with some residual moisture, and can be applied at temperatures as low as 0 °C. As it is a water-based formulation, it is non-flammable.
