MORTERPLUS VA - Mortero obturador de vias de agua

Neoquim Morterplus VA is a fast-setting hydraulic mortar made with hydraulic binders, selected aggregates, and organic and inorganic additives. It is specially formulated to stop active water ingress and perform repairs where a conventional mortar would not have enough time to set before being washed away or displaced by water pressure.

One of its most notable features is its ability to set even in the direct presence of water. Neoquim’s documentation indicates an approximate setting time of 2 to 6 minutes, allowing for rapid intervention on cracks, leaks, and specific points of water ingress. It is intended for tanks, pipes, walls, basements, and other structures where it is necessary to stop a leak before carrying out further repairs.

Neoquim reports that Morterplus VA has flexural strength values exceeding 7 N/mm² and compressive strength values exceeding 40 N/mm², providing a durable repair once hardened.

Due to its extremely rapid hardening, only the amount that can be applied immediately should be mixed. To seal an active leak path, the mortar is pressed firmly against the entry point until it develops sufficient strength. It is particularly useful as an emergency solution prior to waterproofing, structural repairs, or permanent sealing on sites affected by leaks.
