Description

General Description

Epoxy mortar for non-sagging applications

Neoquim Morterplus Epoxy Tixo is a three-component epoxy mortar with a thixotropic consistency, manufactured with epoxy resin that offers high mechanical and chemical resistance and aggregates specifically selected to provide body to the mixture. Unlike a self-leveling epoxy, it holds its position better once applied, allowing work on sloped, vertical surfaces, or localized areas.

Industrial repairs and high-stress areas

It is designed for the repair and rebuilding of floors, joints, edges, baseboards, steps, vertical elements, and areas subject to mechanical loads or chemical exposure. Its epoxy composition is particularly useful in industrial facilities, workshops, garages, and technical areas where performance exceeding that of conventional cementitious mortar is required.

Substrate Preparation and Mixing

The substrate must be sound, completely clean, and free of moisture, dust, grease, oil, and loosely adhered materials. The various components are mixed in the ratio provided by Neoquim until a uniform paste is obtained, after which the aggregates are incorporated and blended thoroughly.

Its thixotropic consistency allows for the creation of localized thicknesses and greater control during repairs where the material must not flow. For large horizontal surfaces where a continuous, level finish is desired, the specific alternative within the same product line is Morterplus Self-Leveling Epoxy.
