MORTERPLUS ELASTIC - Mortero impermeabilizante elástico

Neoquim Morterplus Elastic is a two-component, highly elastic waterproofing mortar designed to form a continuous layer on mineral substrates subject to moisture and minor movements. It combines a cementitious component with a liquid dispersion that, once mixed, forms a membrane adhered to the substrate that is impervious to water and has greater flexibility than a conventional rigid mortar.

One of its main advantages is that it is a tileable system, so it can be used as a waterproofing layer prior to the installation of ceramic tiles. This makes it particularly suitable for terraces, balconies, showers, bathrooms, swimming pools, water tanks, and other wet areas where the waterproofing must subsequently be protected by a finish. Neoquim also highlights its high adhesion, strength, and durability.

The manufacturer expressly states that Morterplus Elastic is suitable for contact with drinking water, so it can also be used in water tanks and compatible hydraulic structures when the construction system allows it.

The substrate must be sound, clean, and free of dust, oils, poorly adhered paint, and loose particles. Before applying the mortar, active cracks, joints, and significant defects must be repaired. Since it is a two-component product, it is essential to follow the powder-to-liquid ratio provided by Neoquim and mix thoroughly before applying it in the specified layers.
