IMPERLATEX PU INCOLORO - Impermeabilizante de poliuretano

Neoquim Imperlatex PU Colorless is a single-component, 100% aliphatic polyurethane waterproofing product that is transparent, low-viscosity, and has a glossy finish. It forms a continuous, waterproof membrane while keeping the existing flooring or cladding visible, making it particularly useful on terraces, rooftops, roofs, walls, planters, and ornamental fountains where one does not wish to alter the original finish with a colored membrane.

The membrane has an elasticity of over 30%, a hardness of over 95 Shore A, and resistance to solar radiation, hydrolysis, abrasion, microorganisms, household detergents, and acid rain. Neoquim specifies an approximate coverage rate of 1 kg/m² to achieve a thickness of about 0.8 mm, with a drying time of approximately 12–18 hours and recoating possible after 6–8 hours. Maximum strength is reached in approximately seven days.

On terracotta and other absorbent surfaces, a primer coat may be applied. On glazed stoneware, porcelain tile, or polished stone, Neoquim recommends first applying Microprimer, with an approximate coverage rate of 40–50 m²/L, and recoating after about 15–30 minutes. The substrate must be completely clean, dry, sound, and free of cracks wider than approximately 1 mm prior to treatment.
