IMPERLATEX - Impermeabilizante acrílico flexible

Neoquim Imperlatex is a single-component, water-based waterproofing product formulated from a highly elastic, thixotropic acrylic polymer. Once dry, it forms a continuous, flexible, waterproof, and durable film designed to accommodate minor expansion and movement of the substrate without cracking easily. It is particularly suitable for terraces, patios, roofs, vaults, and other surfaces exposed to rain or ambient moisture.

It adheres to standard construction substrates such as concrete, cement, and compatible ceramic surfaces. Before application, it is essential to remove dust, grease, dirt, and any loosely adhering material, as well as to repair cracks, deteriorated joints, or voids. The waterproofing should not be used to conceal unrepaired structural defects.

It can be applied using a brush, roller, rubber squeegee, or suitable spray equipment. Neoquim’s technical documentation recommends a first coat diluted with water to promote penetration and adhesion, followed by cross-coats after the previous coat has dried. On walkable surfaces, a fiberglass mesh can be incorporated as reinforcement between coats. Drying time between coats is approximately 6–8 hours, depending on temperature and humidity, and the final coat must be allowed to cure completely before allowing foot traffic.
