FIJADOR AQUO - Consolidante superficial multisuperficies

Neoquim Fijador Aquo is a water-based consolidating primer specially designed to penetrate loose substrates, harden surface particles, and provide a more stable base before subsequent finishing work. It is formulated with 100% acrylic binders, which are responsible for its penetration, adhesion, and consolidation properties.

It is particularly suitable for use on walls, facades, and mineral-based materials that exhibit surface dust, uneven absorption, or poor consistency. By evening out the substrate’s absorbency, it promotes a more uniform application of paints and coatings and helps prevent variations in finish caused by areas that absorb the topcoat at different rates. It can be used in both renovation and new construction projects when the substrate requires prior stabilization.

One of its main advantages is its water-based formulation, which facilitates indoor use and simplifies tool cleanup. The substrate must be clean and free of grease, loose dust, efflorescence, and poorly adhered materials before applying the primer.

Aquo Primer should not be confused with the solvent-based Neoquim Primer, which is a separate product. The choice between the two will depend on the type of substrate, application conditions, and the subsequent finishing system. Neoquim classifies Aquo Primer as part of its consolidating treatments for construction and renovation.
