Araldite rápido - Uniones rápidas y resistentes

Araldite Rápido CEYS is a fast-curing, two-component epoxy adhesive consisting of a resin and a hardener that react when mixed. It is designed to create fast, strong structural bonds on metals, ceramics, glass, rubbers, rigid plastics, expanded polystyrene, and thermosetting plastics. It is also useful for repairing household appliances, machinery, sports equipment, boats, electronic circuit boards, models, and DIY projects. It is not suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, or silicone.

Once mixed, it develops a strength of up to 270 kg/cm² and withstands impacts, vibrations, numerous organic and inorganic solvents, and operating temperatures between -30 and +80 °C. The mixture has an approximate density of 1.18 kg/l and a pot life of 5 to 8 minutes at 25 °C. CEYS specifies a working time of about 5 minutes, initial cure in approximately 20 minutes, and maximum strength in about 2 hours.

Surfaces must be dry, clean, and free of grease. Equal amounts of resin and hardener are dispensed into the syringe and mixed until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Apply a thin layer to both surfaces and hold them in place for at least 20 minutes. For maximum mechanical strength, the technical data sheet recommends adhesive thicknesses of approximately 0.05 to 0.10 mm.
