Mortero Rápido BMB 1004

BMB 1004 is a Class R3 structural repair mortar formulated with natural rapid-setting cement, mineral aggregates, synthetic resins, and additives. It is intended for the protection and repair of concrete surfaces and elements, especially when high early strength and rapid return to service are required. It can be used for reconstructions, localized repairs, vertical applications, and the protection of pre-prepared reinforcing steel.

Its working time is approximately 10 minutes at 20 °C, making it particularly suitable for projects where speed is critical. It can be applied in thicknesses ranging from approximately 3 to 40 mm per application and has a coverage rate of about 1.5 kg/m² per millimeter of thickness. The technical data sheet specifies adhesion to concrete of 1.5 MPa or higher, resistance to carbonation, low capillary absorption, and compatibility with freeze-thaw cycles. Drying time ranges from approximately 24 to 48 hours, depending on thickness and environmental conditions. For thick repairs, reinforcement properly anchored to the substrate may be necessary.
