Mortero Portland

Beissier Portland Mortar is a dry masonry mortar for general construction and repair work, suitable for rendering, plastering, and flooring; building stone or masonry walls; and securing items that require strength. It can be used indoors and outdoors on mineral substrates such as concrete, mortar, cement boards, brick, or stone. Its cement- and aggregate-based formulation offers excellent filling capacity and a compressive strength greater than 10 N/mm², corresponding to Class M10 according to EN 998-2.

Mix with approximately 0.20 liters of water per kilogram of product until a homogeneous, lump-free paste is achieved. Then let it rest for about 5 minutes. The mixture has a pot life of over 90 minutes at 20 °C and is applied with a putty knife, trowel, or float in layers up to 20 mm thick. The approximate coverage is 1.5 kg/m² per millimeter of thickness, and drying time is about 24 hours at 20 °C.

The substrate must be firm, dry, clean, and free of dust, grease, efflorescence, or poorly adhered material. The recommended application temperature is between 5 and 30 °C. Do not apply over plaster, paint, deteriorated substrates, or joints made of disintegrating materials.
