Isolfix Ambientes Húmedos

Isolfix for Humid Environments is a solvent-based gel paint designed to protect, waterproof, and decorate surfaces regularly exposed to humid environments. It is particularly suitable for basements, cellars, gyms, bathrooms, facades in humid areas, and marine environments. It can be applied to concrete, mortar, cement boards, brick, plaster, stucco, stone, ceramic, glass, acrylic paints, and render. In addition, it can be applied to substrates with up to 17% moisture content, a feature that is particularly useful in renovation projects.

It offers excellent adhesion, alkali resistance, and low permeability to liquid water, while allowing water vapor to pass through. It also helps consolidate substrates, can act as a primer on powdery surfaces, and blocks certain soluble stains, such as tannins or iron oxides. Its film is resistant to mold and mildew growth and can be applied even at temperatures ranging from −20 to +40 °C. It has a matte finish, dries to the touch in about 3 hours, and can be recoated in approximately 12 to 24 hours. The approximate coverage is 5–6 m²/L per coat.
