Fungistop

Fungistop is a water-based, ready-to-use disinfectant solution designed to sanitize surfaces affected by mold, fungi, and algae, as well as to delay their reappearance. It can be used both indoors and outdoors on concrete, cement, mortar, single-layer coatings, cement boards, plaster, stone, brick, acrylic paints, and stucco. It is not suitable for wood. Its formulation offers high penetration capacity and complies with UNE-EN 13697 under clean conditions for antiseptics and chemical disinfectants.

If there is heavy contamination, it is advisable to first remove the excess by brushing or washing. Then apply Fungistop undiluted until the surface is saturated, using a brush, sponge, or sprayer. After a minimum of 30 minutes, rinse with clean water; if a second application is necessary, Beissier recommends waiting at least 3 hours. Once dry, it is recommended to finish with a paint or coating that is resistant to mold and algae. The approximate coverage is about 6 m²/L, depending on the absorbency of the surface.
