Deltafix

Deltafix is a colorless, solvent-based primer designed to bond, consolidate, and harden powdery, porous, or unstable substrates before applying subsequent mortars, paints, or coatings. It can be used indoors and outdoors on concrete, mortars, and cement boards; lime mortars; plaster; silicate coatings; stoneware; and non-elastic organic coatings such as paints and old plaster.

Its high penetration capacity allows it to consolidate weak areas and reduce differences in absorption, promoting a more uniform performance of the subsequent finish. In addition, it enhances resistance to carbonation, is alkali-resistant, permeable to water vapor, and impervious to rainwater. It is supplied ready to use and should not be diluted. Apply with a brush or roller until saturated, with an approximate coverage of 3 to 6 m²/L, depending on the substrate’s absorbency and cohesion. It dries to the touch in about 30 minutes, and you should wait approximately 24 hours before applying the next treatment.
