Aguaplast Obrafácil

Aguaplast Obrafácil is a cement-based powder plaster for repairing and protecting exterior and interior surfaces, especially concrete elements and facades. It is useful for balconies, cornices, columns, overhangs, brick joints, spalling, and other repairs where greater strength is required than with a conventional plaster. It exhibits high adhesion to old concrete and steel reinforcement, without the need for bonding agents or formwork in the intended applications.

A 3-mm-thick layer provides waterproofing against rain and resistance to carbonation. In addition, it acts as a barrier against salt efflorescence, withstands marine environments and seawater, can be applied to damp substrates, and maintains permeability to water vapor and CO₂. Beissier notes that it can be painted over after approximately 48 hours.
