Aguaplast Masilla plástica

Aguaplast Plastic Filler is a ready-to-use filler specifically designed to seal, cover, and smooth out minor imperfections on wooden surfaces before painting or lacquering. It corrects surface irregularities and creates a uniform, low-absorption base, preventing the subsequent enamel or lacquer finish from being absorbed unevenly. It can also be used on other absorbent substrates such as particleboard, plaster, gypsum board, cement, concrete, and acrylic paints.

It is formulated with acrylic resins, mineral fillers, and additives. It is white in color, has an approximate density of 1.8 g/cm³, a pH between 8 and 9, and a very fine particle size of less than 100 µm. Once dry, its finish allows for easy sanding. It can be used indoors and outdoors, provided it is subsequently protected with a suitable coating.

It is applied directly with a trowel or putty knife, without the need for prior preparation of the product. The maximum recommended thickness is 1 mm per coat; to repair deeper areas, apply several coats, allowing each to dry before applying the next. Its approximate coverage is 1.8 kg/m² per millimeter, and it dries in 1 to 2 hours per millimeter at 20 °C. Once dry, it can be sanded, dusted off, and then painted or varnished. The substrate must be sound, dry, and clean, free of dust, grease, and wax. The recommended application temperature is 5 to 35 °C.
