Super Sikalite®

Super Sikalite® is a normal-setting powdered additive developed to increase the water resistance of traditional mortars and sprayed mortars or concrete. By reacting with the cement during hydration, it generates mineral substances that seal the capillary network and impede the passage of water.

It is suitable for plastering, rendering, bedding mortars, and waterproofing work on walls and floors. It can also be incorporated into dry-sprayed mixtures, facilitating work on ceilings and vertical surfaces.

It improves workability without increasing the mixing water content, facilitates upward spraying, and helps reduce material waste. The recommended dosage is 2% by weight of the cement, and it must be thoroughly mixed with the dry components to achieve uniform distribution. It is chloride-free and allows the mortar to retain its permeability to air and water vapor.
