SikaTop®-209 Plus ES

SikaTop®-209 Plus ES is a flexible two-component mortar formulated with supplementary cementitious materials, aggregates, and selected additives. Its low modulus of elasticity allows it to accommodate minor movements of the substrate and bridge microcracks or shrinkage cracks.

It is suitable for tanks, swimming pools, canals, basements, buried walls, terraces, cornices, and concrete structures exposed to marine environments. It can withstand both positive and negative pressure and is suitable for surfaces intended to contain drinking water.

It forms a barrier that is impermeable to water yet permeable to vapor, with good adhesion to concrete, mortar, stone, and brick. It also protects against carbonation, freezing, and de-icing salts. It can be applied with a trowel, brush, roller, or by spraying, with or without ArmaTop®-100 mesh, depending on the substrate’s requirements.
