Description
General Description
SikaTop®-142 Seal is a two-component cementitious mortar with a polyurethane dispersion, developed to waterproof swimming pools while also providing a decorative finish.
Pool Protection
It forms a smooth, colored surface that protects against water penetration and carbonation while maintaining vapor permeability. It features low shrinkage, stability against ultraviolet radiation, and chemical resistance to chlorinated water and seawater.
Application System
It can be applied with a trowel, brush, or spray equipment onto properly prepared concrete and mortars. The coating must be reinforced with ArmaTop®-100 alkali-resistant mesh and applied at a consistent thickness of 4 mm, distributed over at least two layers. The finish can be polished to achieve a more uniform surface. To enhance protection and facilitate maintenance, it can be finished with Sikagard® Protection Piscine.
