General Description
Sealant Specifically Designed for Swimming Pools
Sikasil® Pool is a one-component, neutral-cure, oxime-type silicone sealant developed for joints permanently exposed to water. Its high elasticity allows it to accommodate movement between materials and maintain a durable seal in demanding wet environments.
Applications and Substrates
It is suitable for joints in swimming pools, showers in sports facilities, and other areas in continuous contact with water. It can be applied between tiles, ceramic elements, concrete, glass, metals, and other common construction substrates, provided they are properly prepared.
Durability and Maintenance
It offers high resistance to water, chlorine used as a disinfectant, and mold growth. It also withstands aging, ultraviolet radiation, and tearing well, without being corrosive to compatible materials. It is sold in 300-ml cartridges and is available in white, gray, and translucent.
